Jen is our newest partner, joining Shores Editorial Services after several years of managing IEEE Computer Society’s suite of magazines (including its flagship monthly, Computer). Currently, she’s works on a variety of marketing and technical materials for Synopsys and UCI, and is a development editor for Manning Publications. She has a BA in International Relations with a minor in English from the University of California, Davis. In her spare time, she loves to explore Southern California's urban landscape, checking out the latest curio exhibits at local museums, perusing shining examples of postmodern architecture/décor, and sampling the cutting-edge cuisine of its various restaurants and cafés. Tammi Titsworth Director, Outreach & New Business Initiatives
Tammi is a founding partner of Shores Editorial Services, an award-winning writer, and a freelance editor and writer for clients such as the World Bank, Wiley Publishing, Adobe, and several research universities. Her creative writing background (through undergraduate work at Rhodes College and graduate work at Miami University) informs how she approaches technical content, parlaying words into a message that is clear, meaningful, and resonant. Whether this involves reinforcing researchers’ work at Bill Gates’ Think Week, representing both the idyllic and sensible in academic catalogs, or conveying economic policy options to multiple stakeholders—Tammi distills difficult concepts into relatable work. When she’s away from her desk, she enjoys feeding her curiosity through travel, observing the abundance of wildlife around her (especially the curmudgeonly woodchuck who throws things at passersby), and embracing the absurdity and pleasure in everyday life.
